What is a ceramic coating?
A ceramic coating is a liquid that bonds to your clear coat and cures into a hard, glossy layer of its own. Unlike a wax, it does not wash off after a few weeks. It becomes the outer surface of your paint, so dirt, water and sun hit the coating first.

How hard is a ceramic coating?
The coatings we install are rated 9H, three times harder than your factory clear coat. That hardness is what helps the finish resist light wash marks and keeps the gloss looking fresh for years.
Does a ceramic coating stop rock chips?
No. A coating is a very thin layer, so it cannot absorb the impact of a rock at highway speed. For rock chip protection you want paint protection film. Many drivers put PPF on the front of the car and a ceramic coating over everything.
Do I have to wait at the shop while my car is worked on?
No. We offer a complimentary Uber ride, so you can drop off your car and get on with your day.
Can I put a ceramic coating on top of PPF?
Yes, and many of our customers do. PPF takes the hit from rock chips and road debris, and a ceramic coating over it adds gloss and makes the whole car easier to wash. We can do both in one visit.
Do you correct the paint before coating it?
Yes. A coating locks in whatever is under it, so we wash and decontaminate the paint, then polish out swirl marks and light scratches before the coating goes on.
Do you tint homes and offices too?
Yes. We install window film for homes and businesses, including heat and glare control, frost privacy film and custom logo decorative film.

How do I take care of a coated car?
Washing gets easier, since dirt and water slide off the slick surface. Hand wash with a gentle soap and skip automatic brush washes, which can leave marks in any finish. We will go over the details when you pick up your car.
